Who is the International Party Girl?

My name is Angeles Shih, the the founder and life force behind International Party Girl. A universe where fashion, travel, and reinvention collide. I was born in Argentina, raised in Taiwan and Hong Kong, and now based in New York City, I design for women who are constantly evolving, who treat each outfit, each city, each chapter like an adventure.

I’m an award-winning accessories designer with a BFA from the Fashion Institute of Technology, and I’ve spent the last decade designing handbags, leather goods, and lifestyle pieces for brands like Kate Spade, Coach, Henri Bendel, LeSportsac, Edie Parker, Flower by Edie Parker, Caraa, Calin New York, and Away Travel. Most recently, I worked on the Away x The White Lotus collab, blending luxury, storytelling, and escapism—my three favorite things.

But after designing for everyone else, I decided it was time to create something for me.

International Party Girl started as an alter ego. My way of reclaiming confidence, chaos, and freedom. It’s not just about partying. It’s about choosing to show up. To reinvent. To wear the bold outfit, take the one-way flight, dance like nobody’s watching, and trust that you’re the main character even on your off days.

The start of World Domination....

After a decade of working in a the fashion industry, I granted myself the permission to take off a year to travel around the world, a chapter I call World Domination. To fully embrace what it means to be International Party Girl. No closet. No comfort zone. Just me embracing each stop and understanding who I really stand for, not what others think of me.

Primera Return

I came back to New York City transformed. Collected stories, boyfriends, and a suitcase full of vintage gems I found along the way. Primera Return was launched to celebrate my grand return. A pop-up at Bloda's Choice where it all began, it was the perfect final farewell to World Domination. A closing of a chapter and marked the beginning of new era ahead. It's a celebration of a life well lived and a dream that I will keep on chasing. This is when International Party Girl became more than a concept, it became a reality and a movement.

What I Make

At the heart of International Party Girl is storytelling through style.

Each item I curate or create, whether it’s a pair of vintage sunglasses from Milan, a limited edition IPG hat, or a one-of-a-kind custom printed shirt, carries a story. Every pop-up I host is a portal. A place to play, reconnect, and dress for the life you actually want.

Fashion is the entry point, but confidence is the real product.
